Prof. Rohan Shenoy, author of the leading MHT-CET preparation website http://www.BiologyForMHTCET.com  will be conducting his test-series for MHT-CET 2010 – Biology only.

About Prof. Rohan Shenoy:

Prof. Rohan Shenoy is a medico from Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Hospital, Byculla, Mumbai. In his 4-yrs teaching experience, he has been associated with leading test-preparation institutes in Mumbai apart from his private tuitions. He was a ranker at MHT-CET 2005(Rank 333).

Why a specialized test-series for Biology?

In MHT-CET, Biology assumes strategic importance. It is the primary tie-breaker in deciding ranks of students with the same grand total marks. A student with higher score in Biology is ranked higher than other students with the same grand total, and thus his/her chances of securing a merit seat are brighter. Usually, students find it easier to score better in Biology as compared to Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics. However, Biology is the most difficult subject from the point of view of competition. Your score in Biology is of critical importance to your rank. A difference of one mark in Biology can cause your rank to jump by hundred places either up or down even among students scoring the same grand total marks as you. Our analysis of top 1000 rankers of MHT-CET shows that the average score in Physics is 88%, whereas its as high as 97% in Biology. Is Biology easy enough to score 97%?

Nature of test-series:

The test-series consists of 10 questions papers. Each question paper will carry 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) for 100 marks. All MCQs are supported by answer keys. Detailed explanation is provided wherever necessary. All the MCQs are carefully handpicked from the 9 sanctioned textbooks so that the test-series includes most likely questions.

We strictly adhere to the syllabus of ‘Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education’. All questions appearing in the test-series are chosen from the 9 sanctioned textbooks for Biology only.

Test-series material:

All 10 tests (printed papers) will be delivered by courier, usually within 5 to 7 working days of enrollment.

Specimen question paper:

Specimen question paper consisting of 20 MCQs can be downloaded from http://www.biologyformhtcet.com/2010-specimen.pdf  . All the 10 question papers follow the same format of specimen question paper.

Past result:

In MHT-CET 2009, Pranav Pramod Patwardhan scored 95 out of 100 in Biology and overall merit rank(SML) 432 which helped him secure a merit seat for M.B.B.S. in Grant Medical College(J.J. Hospital), Mumbai.

In the same year, 45 out of 100 MCQs asked in MHT-CET Biology were already covered in our 2009 test-series.
