Detailed cut offs of MHT-CET 2009, arranged by course, college and category have been upload on our website’s.
Cut offs are mentioned for KEM(Seth G S Medical College), J J (Grant Medical College) and all other medical, dental, ayurved, homeopath, unani, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, BASLP, etc.
Important note: Cut offs are mentioned by Rank (Called SML) and not marks. Marks have no importance, only the rank is important. For ex: In MHT-CET 2007 common/open category students scoring 179/200 were ranked beyond 1450 and did not get admission as common/open category cut off was at rank 1406, whereas in MHT-CET 2009, common/open category students scoring 179/200 were ranked around 400 and easily got admissions into top medical colleges such as Grant Medical College, B. J. Medical College(Pune), etc.
The cut-offs are offered as a part of our online guidance service for admission procedure. For more details and subscription information, please click HERE.

This article is intended to give a gist of distribution of seats in those Maharashtra medical colleges admitting students on basis of merit in MHT-CET exam. For courses other than MBBS and BDS, please check the brochure.
- 15% seats of the college are reserved from AIPMT candidates
- Remaining 85% seats are available for MHT-CET candidates.
- 70% of the 85% seats are reserved for candidates from the region(ROM/Marathwada/Vidharbha) in which the college is located.
- Remaining 30% of the seats are reserved for candidates from regions other than that of the medical college. Candidates from the same region are also eligible for these seats.
- Both 70 and 30% are then divided in approx 50% for common(open) category and the remaining 50% is divided among Constitutionally reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, NT,VJ, etc.
- Apart from these constitutionally reservations special reservations such as Govt. of India(GOI), HA, MKB, Def, etc. are applied.
The above scheme may vary on yearly basis. For latest and accurate information, please refer the MHT-CET Health Science brochure.
