Mumbai is the “Kota” of MHT-CET when it comes to facilities. However, our analysis shows that candidates from Mumbai and Mumbai Sub Urban areas together secure only 31% of the Top 1o00 ranks, and only 28% of the Top 1500. The remaining 70% of the ranks are secured by candidates from other districts, especially Latur, Nanded and Aurangabad. A surprising laggard is Pune. It manages to get only 1 in Top 10o.
